Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $50 million USD for sick and injured kids. Once again this year, Level One and The Loft are joining in!
We will be running a 24 hour gaming marathon all day Sunday November 3, from midnight to midnight. During that time, all of our Stay ‘N’ Play fees will be donated to Extra Life! We’ll be running a variety of crazy gaming events throughout the day, including:
- Video gaming
- Board gaming
- Dungeons and Dragons
- And more!
And the best part is, you can join in the fun!
How to participate in Extra Life
There are so many ways you can contribute to Extra Life and support CHEO! Whether you’re a video gamer, board gamer, RPG-er or just want to support sick kids, there are tons of ways to get involved!
- Donate RIGHT NOW through our Extra Life Page! Every penny of your donation will go directly to our local Children’s Miracle Hospital, CHEO!
- Watch our stream! Tune into our Twitch channel on game day! All day Sunday November 3 from midnight to midnight we will be streaming all 25 consecutive hours of our gaming madness! (yes, 25 hours thanks to Daylight Savings!) From there you’ll also be able to issue challenges to our streamers to make their gaming more difficult – I mean fun 😉
- Cross the streams! Make your own Extra Life page, join our team and start raising money to help us meet our goal! You can even link your own Twitch channel to your page and stream along with us on Game Day.
- Join the party! Come out to Level One for 25 straight hours of video gaming, board gaming, dungeons and dragons, and more – or just join us for part of that time if 25 hours seems a bit excessive. All of our Stay ‘N’ Play fees from Nov 3 will be donated to Extra Life, so whether you stop by for an hour, 5 hours or 25 hours, you can help make a difference in kids’ lives!
